Steamed Mixed Cabbage
After a long hiatus from the kitchen and frequent eating out, I need a plate of veggie goodness! I love this recipe - it reminds me of the "Chicken with wood ear mushroom and lily buds" recipe (http://saltandspices.weebly.com/---chicken-with-wood-ear-mushroom--lily-buds.html). You will also notice that I have used a "handful" of different ingredients. The beauty of this recipe is that you can mix and match and play around with the amount of the different ingredients. Include more of the ingredients that you like and omit the ones you don't!

Soak the lily buds, shiitake mushroom and wood ear mushroom in hot water for about 15-30 minutes or until soft. Then, slice the mushrooms and tie the lily buds into knots. |
