Instant Pot Meatball Pasta
This has got to be the easiest recipe ever!!!! Easy way out for a weeknight. Most importantly, baby O loves pasta!!

- 1lb meatball
- 1lb pasta (I used penne)
- 1 jar of 24-26oz pasta sauce (I used Marinara)
- 1 bell pepper
- 1/4 sweet onion, chopped
- Handful of dried tomatoes
- 8 cremini mushrooms
- 1 and 1/4 jar of water (I used the Marinara jar)
- Handful of cheese (I have tried parmesan, etc, but this particular time, I used Romano cheese)
- Garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper
I then added 1 jar of marinara sauce on top covering the pasta, followed by 1 and 1/4 jar of water along the inside of the pot.
Next, add in all the seasonings. You can be liberal with the Italian seasoning and garlic powder. If you are thinking of adding cheese, hold the salt a little. What I learnt is that you can always under season it initially, and season it more later when it's done to avoid over seasoning. Then, pressure cook it for 5 minutes and do a quick release. |
