Spaghetti and Meatballs
Spaghetti and meatballs! Classic Italian-American dish that consists of spaghetti (duh!), tomato sauce and meatballs (duh!) I used chunky diced and fire roasted tomatoes instead of tomato puree because I prefer the sauce to have a "hardier" texture. The meatballs took a longer time to make - it requires chopping ingredients, mixing them together, forming balls and then frying them up before I can braise them in the tomato sauce. Nevertheless, it turns out to be a great kitchen adventure!
p/s: In an attempt to be healthier, I actually grinded pork tenderloin and made meatballs with it. If I were to repeat this recipe again, I'll buy minced pork from the store because it makes life much easier and minced pork is usually "fatter". This would make the meatballs much more moist!

Now, it's time to "braise" the meatballs! Dump the meatballs back into the pot and let them simmer in the tomato sauce for about 25 to 30 minutes. I also turned the meatballs occasionally to make sure that they absorb the sauce well :) While simmering, bring a pot of water to a boil, salt the water and cook the spaghetti. Then, dish out the spaghetti onto a plate.
