Panko Crusted Fish with Mayo Dill Sauce
Panko is a Japanese flaky bread crumb used in Japanese cuisine. It works really well as a fish crust.
This is an easy recipe that does not require frying and hence, no mess in the kitchen. All we need to do is season the fish, dip it in beaten egg, dredge it in panko mix and broil it 4-5 min each side.
Also, fish works really well with dill. The creamy mayonnaise dill sauce is tangy and complements the baked fish.

Marinade the fish fillet with salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic powder. It is preferable to use fish fillets of the same size so that they are done from the oven at the same time. But oh well, mine wasn't anyway...
Lightly beat an egg. I also season the panko breadcrumbs with some more salt and black pepper. |
